πŸ’‘ Each person should recite these remembrances individually, NOT in unison - β€œDhikr in unison is an innovation (bid'ah) because it is something that has been introduced into the religion. What is prescribed is to remember Allah, may He be exalted, without reciting in unison.” [Scholars Of The Standing Committee, Fatawaa Al-Lajnah Ad-Da'imah, 24/268]

πŸ’Ž β€œWith the Dhikr of Allah the hearts of the believers become tranquil, their souls become calm, their certainty magnifies, and their Iman (faith) increases. The Dhikr of Allah is the symbol of happiness and the path to success in this world and the hereafter; rather all good, happiness, delight, pleasure, and tranquility in this world and the next is dependent on the performance of the Dhikr of Allah.” [Abdur-Razzaq Al-Badr, The Benefits And Fruits Of Dhkir pg. 14-15]

πŸ’Ž Reward Of Hajj & Umrah

πŸ—― Can sisters praying at home earn this reward as well?

βœ… Yes - click HERE for commentary by Sheikh Ibn Baz Ψ±ΩŽΨΩΩ…ΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡

πŸ’‘ The implementation of this Sunnah is easy - remain seated in the spot where you offered the Fajr prayer while engaging in the remembrance of Allah until the time of Duha prayer enters (15-20 min after sunrise), then pray 2 rak'ahs of Duha prayer

➑️ Remember Allah abundantly during this time by completing the prescribed remembrances after the obligatory prayers, the morning Adhkar, and your daily portion of Qur'an

πŸ“Ή Shiekh Aziz bin Farhan ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡ mentions that it's best to remain seated in the spot where you offered the Fajr prayer, but it's permissible to move to another part of the Masjid if necessary - click HERE for his commentary

‼️ The time for Duha prayer and praying 2 rak'ahs begins when the sun reaches the height of a spear (15-20 min after sunrise), NOT immediately at the time of sunrise - click HERE to learn why and check your Adthan app or do a quick internet search to learn when sunrise starts in your area

❌ The Impermissibility Of Horoscopes - Even As A Joke Or Just For Fun

πŸ“Ή Click HERE for the full commentary by Sheikh Aziz bin Farhan ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡

πŸ“– Safiyya reported from some of the wives of Allah's Messenger ο·Ί that he said: β€œWhoever goes to a fortune-teller and asks him about anything, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights.” [Muslim 2230]

πŸ“– Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet ο·Ί said: β€œWhoever goes to a soothsayer and believes him in what he says...has disbelieved in what Allah has revealed to Muhammad.” [Abi Dawud 3904, Graded Sahih by Al-Albani in Sahih Abi Dawud 3904]

⚠️ β€œWhoever reads the page which contains horoscopes, and he knows the horoscope of when he was born, or he knows that horoscope which is significant for him, and he reads the comments mentioned in that horoscope then it is as if he has asked a soothsayer/fortune-teller, so his prayer would not be accepted for 40 days. If he attests to it and believes in that horoscope then he has disbelieved in that which was revealed to Muhammad ο·Ί.” [Salih Al ash-Sheikh, Explanation of Kitab At-Tawheed pg. 349]

‼️ Many Muslims have unknowingly fallen into this sin and other forms of fortune-telling such as palm reading, tarot cards, etc

❌ The Impermissibility Of Congratulating The Disbelievers On Their Holidays

πŸŽ™ Speaker: Sheikh Saleh Alfawzan ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡

‼️ β€œGreeting non-Muslims at the time of their religious celebrations saying: β€œHave a jolly day” or β€œCongratulations on this day” is impermissible. If extending these greetings is not kufr (disbelief), then at the least, it is prohibited. This is worse than congratulating a non-Muslim for consuming alcohol, or having unlawful sex; rather, it is like congratulating him for prostrating to the cross, yet many Muslims who have weak faith do so without understanding how repugnant this action really is.” [Ibn Al-Qayyim, Ahkam Ahl Al-Dhimmah vol 1 pg. 441]

🚫 Avoid phrases such as β€œMerry Christmas” or β€œHappy Holidays”, and be careful not to express approval through other ways such as giving/accepting gifts or attending gatherings

πŸ’‘ Some Muslims have fallen into this trap, and when they're made aware of it, they say β€œI'm just being nice” - there's nothing nice about encouraging someone in falsehood; rather, you're aiding the devil against them in committing shirk (associating partners with Allah), which is the worst of all sins that will admit them to the Hellfire for the rest of eternity (if they die upon that)

So treat women nicely.” [Bukhari 3331]
