✔️ The Reading Schedule Of The Salaf (Pious Predecessors) In Ramadan

➡️ “We are approaching Ramadan, which is the month of the Qur'an, a month of reading the Qur'an in full multiple times and a month of blessings, a month of fasting and a month of goodness. So to make this event, we would like to present for all those praying and fasting a schedule that approximates the Qur'an reading schedules of the pious predecessors (may Allah be pleased with them). These are distinct from the Juz' divisions which stop in certain places that interrupt a message or passage since they are only concerned with the word-count. And Allah knows best.”

💎 Schedule for those who would like to read the Qur'an within the following frequencies:

▪️Two complete readings per day
▪️One complete reading at night
▪️One complete reading in 24 hours
▪️One complete reading every 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, 10 days, 15 days, or 29 days

📖 Muhammad ibn Ka'b Al-Qurazi narrated: I heard Abdullah ibn Mas'ud saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah (the Qur'an), will receive a reward for it, and the reward is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif Lam Meem is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” [Tirmidhi 2910, Graded Sahih by Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Tirmidhi 2910]

📖 Ibn Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Increase your plantings in Paradise, for its water is sweet and its soil is clean. Its plantings are to say, la Hawla wala Quwata il-la-bil-lah.” [Al-Mu’jam Al-Kabir 13354, Graded Hasan by Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Jami’ 1213]

💎 Better Than A Servant

📖 “It is recommended for one to recite Tasbeeh 33 times, Tahmeed 33 times, and Takbeer 34 times, which makes a total of 100, when one lies down to sleep. This is one of the ways that aid a person in fulfilling his needs. Similarly, if he sleeps, he will sleep upon the remembrance of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.” [Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, Explanation of Riyadus-Saliheen Vol 5 pg. 630]

🗣 The Adthan - The Correct Way To Repeat It And What To Do Afterwards

💡 According to the Hadith narrated in Sahih Muslim, there are three important things to do at the time of the Adthan:

📖 Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying: “When you hear the Mu’adthin, repeat what he says (1), then invoke a blessing on me (2), for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah; then beg from Allah al-Wasila for me (3), which is a rank in Paradise fitting for only one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I may be that one. If anyone asks that I be given the Wasila, he will be assured of my intercession.” [Muslim 384]

La ilaha il-lAllah, wa-l-lahu Akbar
La ilaha il-lAllahu Wahdahu la sharika lah
La ilaha il-lAllahu Lahu-lmulku waLahu-l-hamd
La ilaha il-lAllahu wa la Hawla wala Quwata il-la-bil-lah

🔄 Repeat this remembrance often so that it becomes habitual, inshaAllah - it's important to practice during times of ease so that Allah will, inshaAllah, grant you the ability to say it at the most important time just moments before you leave this world

📖 The Hadith referenced in the video is Tirmidhi 3430 - the Hadith is Sahih and was narrated by An-Nasaa’i in his book As-Sunan Al-Kubra. Al-Haakim narrated it in his book Al-Mustadrak and he classified it as Sahih. A group of scholars, such as Sheikh Al-Albani, also classified its chain of narration as authentic. At-Tirmidhi narrated it in his book Sunan At-Tirmidhi and he classified it as Hasan.

‼️ Prepare For Your Life In The Grave: Recite Surah Al-Mulk Every Night (Chapter 67 Of The Qur'an)

💎 Abd-Allah ibn Mas’ud said: “Whoever recites Tabarak Al-ladhi bi Yadihi’l-Mulk (i.e. Surah Al-Mulk) every night, Allah will protect him from the torment of the grave. At the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ we used to call it al-mani’ah (that which protects). In the Book of Allah it is a Surah which, whoever recites it every night, has done very well.” [Al-Nasai, 6/179; Graded Hasan by Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Targhib wa'l-Tarhib 1475]
