πŸ’‘Remember that you only know what you want, but Allah knows what you NEED. Don't be discouraged if you don't get what you ask for in your du'aa - perhaps that job you wanted would have made you miserable, and maybe that person you wanted to marry would have oppressed you. Have good thoughts about Allah at all times and assume that a major calamity was deflected from your life as a result of your du'aa or that your reward has been stored in the Hereafter. Most importantly, keep making LOTS of du'aa.

βœ”οΈ The Reading Schedule Of The Salaf (Pious Predecessors) In Ramadan

✍️ Complied and prepared by Sheikh Hisham Tahiri ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡

➑️ β€œWe are approaching Ramadan, which is the month of the Qur'an, a month of reading the Qur'an in full multiple times and a month of blessings, a month of fasting and a month of goodness. So to make this event, we would like to present for all those praying and fasting a schedule that approximates the Qur'an reading schedules of the pious predecessors (may Allah be pleased with them). These are distinct from the Juz' divisions which stop in certain places that interrupt a message or passage since they are only concerned with the word-count. And Allah knows best.”

πŸ’Ž Schedule for those who would like to read the Qur'an within the following frequencies:

β–ͺ️Two complete readings per day
β–ͺ️One complete reading at night
β–ͺ️One complete reading in 24 hours
β–ͺ️One complete reading every 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days, 10 days, 15 days, or 29 days

πŸ“– Muhammad ibn Ka'b Al-Qurazi narrated: I heard Abdullah ibn Mas'ud saying that the Messenger of Allah ο·Ί said: β€œWhoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah (the Qur'an), will receive a reward for it, and the reward is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif Lam Meem is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” [Tirmidhi 2910, Graded Sahih by Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Tirmidhi 2910]

⚠️ Remember that in order to earn rewards for each letter that you read you must move your tongue and lips, and not just scan your eyes over the words - click HERE for an explanation by Sheikh Aziz bin Farhan ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡

πŸ’‘ Every Muslim should strive to complete the Qur'an on a regular basis, even outside of Ramadan - Sheikh Saleh Alfawzan ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡ mentions HERE that the reading/recitation of the Qur'an should be completed at least once every 40 days

πŸ—£ The Adthan - The Correct Way To Repeat It And What To Do Afterwards

πŸ’‘ According to the Hadith narrated in Sahih Muslim, there are three important things to do at the time of the Adthan:

πŸ“– Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As reported Allah's Messenger ο·Ί as saying: β€œWhen you hear the Mu’adthin, repeat what he says (1), then invoke a blessing on me (2), for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah; then beg from Allah al-Wasila for me (3), which is a rank in Paradise fitting for only one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I may be that one. If anyone asks that I be given the Wasila, he will be assured of my intercession.” [Muslim 384]

βœ… The video covers the Adthan for Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Ishaa - there's a slight addition in the ending of the Fajr Adthan where the Mu’adthin will say β€œas-salatu khayrun min an-nawm” (prayer is better than sleep), and this phrase should be repeated as well according to one of the scholarly opinions - click HERE for an explanation by Sheikh Aziz bin Farhan ΨΩŽΩΩΨΈΩŽΩ‡Ω Ω±Ω„Ω„Ω‡
