💡Remember that you only know what you want, but Allah knows what you NEED. Don't be discouraged if you don't get what you ask for in your du'aa - perhaps that job you wanted would have made you miserable, and maybe that person you wanted to marry would have oppressed you. Have good thoughts about Allah at all times and assume that a major calamity was deflected from your life as a result of your du'aa or that your reward has been stored in the Hereafter. Most importantly, keep making LOTS of du'aa.

📖 Muhammad ibn Ka'b Al-Qurazi narrated: I heard Abdullah ibn Mas'ud saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah (the Qur'an), will receive a reward for it, and the reward is multiplied tenfold. I do not say that Alif Lam Meem is one letter, but rather Alif is a letter, Lam is a letter, and Meem is a letter.” [Tirmidhi 2910, Graded Sahih by Al-Albani in Sahih Al-Tirmidhi 2910]

📖 “It is recommended for one to recite Tasbeeh 33 times, Tahmeed 33 times, and Takbeer 34 times, which makes a total of 100, when one lies down to sleep. This is one of the ways that aid a person in fulfilling his needs. Similarly, if he sleeps, he will sleep upon the remembrance of Allah, the Mighty and Sublime.” [Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, Explanation of Riyadus-Saliheen Vol 5 pg. 630]

🗣 The Adthan - The Correct Way To Repeat It And What To Do Afterwards

💡 According to the Hadith narrated in Sahih Muslim, there are three important things to do at the time of the Adthan:

📖 Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As reported Allah's Messenger ﷺ as saying: “When you hear the Mu’adthin, repeat what he says (1), then invoke a blessing on me (2), for everyone who invokes a blessing on me will receive ten blessings from Allah; then beg from Allah al-Wasila for me (3), which is a rank in Paradise fitting for only one of Allah's servants, and I hope that I may be that one. If anyone asks that I be given the Wasila, he will be assured of my intercession.” [Muslim 384]
