📖 Abu Huraira narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, “The part of an Izar which hangs below the ankles is in the Fire.” [Bukhari 5787]

📖 It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr who narrates that the Prophet ﷺ observed: “Three are the persons with whom Allah would not speak on the Day of Resurrection: the bestower of gift who does not give anything but by laying obligation on him, the seller of goods who sells them by taking false oath, and one who hangs low his lower garment.” [Muslim 106b]

💡Remember that you only know what you want, but Allah knows what you NEED. Don't be discouraged if you don't get what you ask for in your du'aa - perhaps that job you wanted would have made you miserable, and maybe that person you wanted to marry would have oppressed you. Have good thoughts about Allah at all times and assume that a major calamity was deflected from your life as a result of your du'aa or that your reward has been stored in the Hereafter. Most importantly, keep making LOTS of du'aa.

📖 Muhammad ibn Ka'b Al-Qurazi narrated: I heard Abdullah ibn Mas'ud saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah (the Qur'an), will receive a reward for it, and the reward is multiplied tenfold.
