IsThereHop? Lunches 2019
Good news reached us today. #IsThereHop? lunches will be extremly delicious - and every day there will be a gluten-free and vegan option! In addition we found a solution together with our cook Mahmut Karakaplan to make lunches more ecological. Instead of disposable dishes, we can offer you lunches on real plates this year!
Lunch is served between 1:15 and 2:45pm every day. No classes are taking place during this hours, so you you will have enough time to enjoy the yummi meal and to chat to other Lindy Hoppers.

Tickets cost CHF 40.00 (CHF 35.00 for students).

✨Welcome back Sonia & Héctor ✨
Hector and Sonia from Barcelona work constantly on the development of the couple dancing. Lindy Hop is the dance in which they can openly evolve all techniques that they have learned through all their life. Argentinian tango, latin rhythms, classical dance and contemporary dance are important disciplines that take part in their learning of the dance.
Couple dancing is a language that they treat carefully, developing new ways of expression with respect and dedication. They critique certain attitudes that may disrespect whichever role in the couple dance and so, they are open to new enrichment expressions of their personal way to understand couple dancing.
Lindy Hop is the dance where one can achieve continuous development. Swing is attractive. Jazz culture inspires and serves as the engine for Hector and Sonia on their constant learning process.

✨Welcome back Mimmi & Fredrik ✨
Mimmi & Fredrik are from Stockholm, Sweden and have been members of the famous dance performance troupe Harlem Hot Shots since 2012. Between rehearsals and regular teaching in Stockholm, they travel to perform and teach around the world, including Australia, the US, China, South Korea, Brazil, Singapore, Turkey, Mozambique and all around Europe.

✨Welcome Sandra & Markus ✨
Sandra and Markus are based in Stockholm and are very active in the swing community. Both have a restless soul and don't think it is enough only to teach: they also organise swing events, and teach and perform for children around the country. If that wasn't enough, Markus is also a well known dj and Sandra writes, choreographs and produces a yearly swing dance musical under the name Lindy Christmas. They have a clear vision of authenticity, and in their work they aim to keep and hone the style, craziness, energy and feeling of the golden age.

✨Welcome back Joris & Yana ✨
Joris discovered the Lindy Hop in Copenhagen when he was studying at the Commedia School for mime & physical theatre. A background in the art of clowning, he takes this to his Jazz dances & dance performances, forming his attitude towards the dance.
Yana is an active swing dancer, performer, teacher and DJ. Since the first lindy hop lesson, she fell in love with the swing scene and started devoting all her time to music and dancing. Raised with love in Moscow Swing Dance Society she shortly became a teacher there and within a few years started to travel for sharing and finding knowledge.
