I am quite sure that even among the best of her own people, and among her supporters in the world, she will have lost all that she may have gained in the earlier days of the war. For her own people, and the neutrals, were waiting intensely as the hour drew…

And then what happened? The English leaders found a way out. By threats and bribes [...] with the Italian government to betray their allies. And when I say betrayed their allies I am not now referring to the Italy capitulation - that is a matter which I, as an Irishman, have no right to judge, - but I am referring to the fact they agreed to capitulate without telling their German allies until English troops under cover of this intrigue would be smuggled over to the Italian mainland. That would be the heroic way the English finally succeed in putting foot on the continent of Europe. That was a miserable conclusion to these months of expectation...

The BBC announced that the surrender of Italy was a great day for the united nations. I think this is the most shameful day for England since the war began, These people have shown themselves very good at destroying some of the finest towns and cities in Europe. They have bombed very thoroughly and well. In those ways they have shown themselves quite ruthless. [...] But all that is not really what I meant to speak about when I began this talk. It is not our business [..] what is our business is to see that we learn this lesson well:

There is no hope for any nation in the world today but their own national integrity and strength. Let no one deceive you at this point. A nation that loses its national integrity will lose everything. The most valuable people in any nation today are nationalists. No matter what arguments may be used to the contrary, these people [...] are a guarantee of the vital spirit of humanity. Thank God that in Ireland we are not lacking of this vital spirit and because of it we shall, I believe, overcome the trials which this war and whatever comes after this war may bring us, and emerge once more a great and united people.

2015 Throwback:

Asylum seeker states she is unable to get along with other cultures & religions in Direct Provision

But diversity will work when released into society, right?
Archiving Irish Diversity Stuff (AIDS)
Throwback: Pádraig Mac Lochlainn (Sinn Féin) agrees that most Irish people's views are in line with those of Immigration Control Platform and want less immigration. Is he reflecting the views of Sinn Féin grass roots contra to his party policy?
The following motions were passed by Sinn Féin during their 1998 Ard Fhéis, the year Sinn Féin finally shook hands on joining the Atlanticist Empire (hence why Bill Clinton played a big role in the Good Friday Agreement)

>Sinn Fein will work for the achievement of the optimum position of no restriction on immigration in Ireland.

>Considering this country's history of emigration Sinn Fein deplores all attempts to limit the numbers of political and economic refugees into the country and supports the full integration of the aforementioned refugees into society

These are represented today under motions 26/27 on their website, although they made sure to word it correctly.

"The strength of Ireland is the spirituality of her ideal. Not for material wealth is she striving, but for human liberty and the restoration of a civilisation that enriched the world." Aodh De Blácam, 𝗧𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 : 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱'𝘀 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹…
"It is like plunging back through the centuries and awaking in the Ireland of Hugh O'Neill — heroic, Gaelic, unsubdued Ireland. The musical, racy Irish speech on every side of you brings to your mind a thrilling sense of the reality of Irish nationality...

When you grow familiar with the language, and the lore it bears with it, you get so absorbed in the vision of Irish-Ireland that you feel in your very fibre the wrongness of anglicisation."

Aodh de Blácam on the Donegal Gaeltacht, 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 (𝟭𝟵𝟮𝟭). Published by the Catholic Truth Society.
