From Hugh O'Neill's letter to Andrés Velázquez, councillor of state to the Spanish king, written while in exile in Rome.
After years of unsuccessfully petitioning continental states for military assistance in exile, Hugh O'Neill wrote to the Spanish in 1615 stating that he wished to return to Ireland, even with only a 100 troops, so as to die an honourable death for his Faith and Fatherland.

The darkest day in Irish ''democracy'' was when Ireland voted to kill babies in the womb, to which all these people talking about implementing birthright citizenship were dancing and celebrating about in Dublin Castle.

''Ireland does not want a change of master. It would be folly to destroy English tyranny in order to erect a domestic tyranny that would need another revolution to free the people. The Irish Republic stands therefore for the ownership of Ireland by the people of Ireland. It means that the means and process of production must not be used for the profit or aggrandisement of any group or class.

Why is a Cypriot-British, Greek-Armenian (identifies as British) ''economist'' the Governor of the Central Bank of Ireland since September 2019?
In July 2019, The Irish Times reported that the European Central Bank had raised concerns with the Irish government about Makhlouf. These reportedly included that he was not an economist and that he is a British citizen. Why are such influential positions being handed to foreigners?
Again - Why? Obvo answer - We are still under control just via soft power rather than by the gun (although the gun is still the case in Ulster).
