How does a country with a disastrous birth rate (1.6) and continuous emigration expect to have an extra 1 million people by 2040?
Ireland per head of population produced 11 tonnes of CO2. Places like Nigeria 1.5 tonnes of CO2. That's an increase of 9.5 tonnes per Nigerian scammer in Ireland.
If Fine Gael are serious about climate change, how will importing Nigerians/3rd Worlders etc help in any way? Increasing population 25% by 2040 which is going to be done nearly entirely by immigration due to disaster birth rate + emigration will just increase burden in needing more energy requirement etc for the larger population

Every few months, the number of houses to be built every year to fix the housing crisis in Ireland magically increases. It was 47,000 back last year, now it's 50,000. Ireland over the next 20 years is expected to have a birth rate of 1.6 (and expected to remain at that level until 2050) + high levels of emigration, therefore the only way that Ireland's population is increasing immigration. Yet, you're not allowed to talk about it and you're to pretend that immigration affecting housing prices/rents is a ''far right conspiracy theory''
The report even says ''Every 10,000 additional migrants requires average 4,000 dwellings'' and migrants are what is driving population increase therefore there's always going to be an excess of tens of thousands of migrants per year yet if you point this out you're called a conspiracy theorist

Initially, under the Ireland 2040 plan, they only had 25,000 houses to be built per year in mind. Now 5 years later, they are expecting 50,000 needed to be built every year to match upcoming demand - DOUBLE what they originally thought when they had talks of importing 1 million more migrants between now and 2040!
So how many more migrants do they expect to be coming into the country between now and 2040-2050? Is it 1 million? Or is it 4 million as this article here from few months back stated ''We need four million migrants for pensions''
