"At the moment when Charlemagne had begun to reign... two Irishmen happened to visit the coast of Gaul in the company of some British traders. These men were unrivalled in their knowledge of sacred and profane [ie. religious and secular] letters, at a time when the pursuit of learning was almost forgotten throughout the length and breadth of Charlemagne’s kingdom....They had nothing on display to sell, but every day they used to shout to the crowds who had collected to buy things: ‘If anyone wants some wisdom let him come to us and receive it"

James Larkin, one of the founders of the Irish Labour Party with an interesting poem on Jews published in 'Irish Worker' on 16th September 1911

James Larkin (One of founders of Irish Labour Party) was in Glasgow where he was known for a protesting the importation of migratory labour into Glasgow to compete with Scottish factory workers to erode their wages and he famously dressed in pig tails to mock the Chinese laborers who would work for so much less as a way to advocate for the Scottish laborers who were being displaced in the workforce.
That displacement so enraged his conscience that he defined his advocacy on behalf of the workers his leftist position, which was the central life really of Irish liberal leftist thought (he's advocacy for the workers during the lockout for example) and was based on understanding the ownership of Ireland by the labouring classes and also demanding a recalibration of labour rights in Ireland based on that understanding, which also included the understanding that migration can be colonization.

"Language is not merely a superficial mark of distinction between nations. Its influence goes deeper. It has been well called the intellectual blood of a people. For it is more than a stock of words and phrases.....The dictionary of a people is not merely the vocabulary of its forms of speech; it is also the storehouse of its ideas. That is to say, it embodies, preserves, and transmits the forms of thought peculiar to a nation, the proverbs that crystallize its mentality, the legend lore of a heroic past, the phrases that have made history"

"The nation which had come into being in Cormac’s day was a nation comparable to antique Greece or Fascist Italy. It must have abounded with energies that it drew from an intense excitement of racial consciousness. The sense of nationality in the Old Irish period was unparalleled elsewhere in the contemporary Europe. Unity of law and of literature bound the peoples of Ireland together, and great hostings, such as Aonach Tailteann and the triennial Feis at Tara, served as festivals of the racial spirit"

''Ireland needs four million migrants to sustain State pension system''
I've said this before on a 100+ tweet witter thread I made in September about the Irish demographic replacement.
The government want to offset the costs of childcare/schooling against the pensions by Anti-Natalist policies to keep birthrate at 1.6 and to then just import migrants to keep the Pension ponzi scheme going and now the Independent today has just proven myself and Nationalists correct that if we don't start bringing the birthrate up, the State will need to import 4 million migrants to keep the pensions afloat.
Thing is, as pointed out in this channel and as I will do below, the Gov plan in their budget explicitly state they WANT the birthrate to remain at 1.6 and keeps births low for pensions. It's on their website in their study on age demograhics ill link below.
