Belfast's asylum seeker percentage per head of population (0.72%) is higher than Dublin City Council's 0.63% (or 3,719/588,233).

New fact I just learned.

On top of this, think about Rishi Sunak’s comments earlier and David Jones former Cabinet minister, “If they send them back, they will go back again because there is an open border. The Irish cannot have their cake and eat it. They wanted an open border and they have an open border."

I hope those within six counties are ready as migration politics is coming their way, as they about to become a playing field and collateral for the Tories and later Labour government to blow some steam off Britain’s immigration crisis.

‘I think we should send every illegal immigrant in Britain to Northern Ireland so they can just walk across the border into Ireland’

Former UKIP Leader, Neil Hamilton, scoffs at Ireland's threats to send asylum seekers back to the UK following their migrant influx.

How about…they send them back to where they came from?

Sunak 'not interested' in pursuing deal with Ireland on asylum seekers https://www.rte.ie/news/politics/2024/0429/1446232-ireland-uk-migration/
What’s happened the past 24 hours is an interesting chain of events with Geopolitical consequences - and it’s all thanks to the Irish people protesting.

Let me explain:

Recently, Helen McEntee admitted to Michael McDowell that 80% of asylum seekers are now coming from Britain via a ferry/plane to Belfast and come down south.

Now, if there were no protests in Ireland against immigration, this wouldn’t be an issue, as these migrants would simply come down to Dublin, set up camp in the tent city, and wait for a house or to be bussed into some Gombeen property with no complaints.

But since East Wall in November 2022 - there has been consistent pressure on the Irish government on this issue, esp with the escalation of the riot in November 2023 and now Newtownmountkennedy in April 2024. So the Irish government has to do something as it’s already facing mounting pressure thanks to those protesting.

But of course - this has wider issue, as the Irish government intend on sending them back up North or back over to Britain. And as we see, Sunak has said that unless the French take back the migrants coming on rafts, then Britain won’t take back migrants from Ireland.

And what adds further to this issue is the whole Windsor Framework and Brexit Border issues. Where is the border? Is the border for those coming in on the Ireland - ‘Northern Ireland’ land border or is it at the sea?

You’re even seeing Shinners who have been bashing those protesting, smearing them as being associated with NATO, British Intel, Loyalists, Tommy Robinson etc - are now calling for a closed border at the sea - in an argument for a United Ireland

On top of all this - human rights groups and NGOs recently ruled that Britain is not safe for Ireland to deport migrants over the Rwanda deal.

Add in as well the massive No/No vote victory and defeat for the government in March.

This is turning out to be a massive headache for Helen McEntee and the FFG government.

If they don’t do anything, migration protests will build up and intensify.

If they do something, there’s a whole geopolitical headache to deal with over the Border issue.

Interesting times - and it’s all thanks to everyone who went out and protested, otherwise this wouldn’t be an issue.

Keep it up! Put em under pressure!

I've never seen anyone actually encourage mass immigration out of this much spite.

All over British twitter you see this sort of stuff. Even that former UKIP leader posted earlier. Just laughing about dumping their migrant hordes onto us cuz based Sunaks Rwanda policy is heckin working!!!.

Rather than wanting to fix the issue, there's a boast about dragging us down too.

Interesting article in the Republican newspaper Wolfe Tone Weekly on September 13th 1939, near 2 weeks after outbreak of WW2

Blames England for causing the conditions for the war (Treaty of Versailles)

Points out how Britain dumped Belgian refugees onto Ireland during WW1 (that James Connolly opposed) and now expecting to dump Polish refugees

Author states that the Belgian refugees ‘turned out to he the undesirables scourings of the Belgian towns and cities’ and stated it was West Brits who imported them in for cheap labour and for virtual signalling

Author also states if people want to help refugees, they should instead donate money to Irish Republican Aid organisations for prisoners in the six counties

Also a point on how these ‘West Brits’ don’t care about supporting the Irish forced to emigrate to England and the world

‘Let us stand with our own and relieve their wants, and when that is done it will indeed be a wholesome thought to remember people from other countries to whom we can lend a hand’

A follow up article on 20th September 1939

Basically states the West Brits wanted to use Ireland as a dumping ground for refugees for a war which England started

…..where have we seen this pattern?

“It was Catholic Belgium in 1914; the Irish White Cross when it is Catholic Poland today; and it will be Catholic China tomorrow if the British go to war with the Japanese.”

Also goes on about how ‘West Brits’ like Lord Longford are quick to care about ‘Catholic Poles’ and set up ‘refugee welcome here’ philanthropic organisations (pre-NGOs) when they are Britain’s ally but say nothing on Irish Catholics in 6 counties etc.

"Charity begins at home," but very frequently that truth cannot be seen by those whose eyes are blinded by pro-British prejudice and who make use of every opportunity to further British interests.”
