WTAF? No, really…. WHAT DID HE SAY? 😲🤯🤬This is INSANITY! 😤😟🥴

If you think about it - what Gerry Adams is really saying here is that the Michael Collins "Freedom to achieve Freedom" pro-treaty argument was correct - just with different language "beginning of a new journey" - which I suppose is an irony in a sense given the history of post-1922 Sinn Féin

'Mhuiredhaich, meil do sgin' (“Muireadhach, sharpen your knife") crusading poem written in the Mediterranean by Muiredhach Albanach Ó Dalaigh:
"Protect us in the hot land,
gentle Lady Mary."
Muiredhach went on Fifth Crusade with fellow poet Gillebrìghde Albanach (Scottish Gael)
Muireadhach Albanach Ó Dálaigh reason for going on a Crusade was to atone for the killing of King Domhnall ll Ó Domhnaill’s tax-collector Fionn Ó Brolacháin, whom Muireadhach considered had been insolent, with an axe.
"And I killed that clown;
O God! Is this a cause for enmity?"
Muireadhach was the King’s ollamh (chief poet).
The O’Brien Kings of Thomond and O’Conor’s Kings of Connacht were their later patrons.

Gerry Hutch is very much like a Sean Quinn and Hugh O’Neill figure. A man who inspired and commended local loyalty to build his kingdom.
The Kinahans represent the Tudor mammon that’s reached it’s tentacles and spy networks internationally, even hiring Saracen hitmen to do their work.
The Monk just wanted to comfortably continue the traditional of cattle raids (in the form of Bank robberies) but was betrayed and double crossed at every turn.

“Curse and swear Judge Beware,
The Monk will do what The Monk will dare,
Now Kinahan, have a care
Fallen is your cash, low
Up with Flats, joyride that Ford
On we’ll go for by the Lord
Gerry Hutch has given the word,
Follow me up to Rialto”
