🔸 The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran consider defending the country’s legal rights a natural and legitimate duty. Accordingly, exercising Iran’s sovereignty over its territorial waters is a natural right of the Iranian people.

🔸 Based on this, ensuring security in Iran’s territorial waters will continue firmly by its dedicated armed forces. As repeatedly stated, vessels affiliated with hostile parties are not and will not be allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, while other vessels may continue to transit in accordance with the regulations set by Iran’s armed forces.

🔸 Furthermore, given the threats by the enemy against the Iranian people and national security, even after the war ends, Iran will decisively implement a permanent mechanism to control the Strait of Hormuz.

🔸 The restrictions imposed by criminal United States on maritime navigation in international waters are illegal and constitute an act of piracy.

🔸 The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran clearly and firmly declare: security of ports in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman must be guaranteed for everyone—or for no one.

🔸 If the security of Iranian ports in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman is threatened, no port in these waters will remain safe.
