Hezbollah condemns and rejects, in the strongest terms, the decision issued by the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which is devoid of any legal justification, to withdraw the approval for the accreditation of the Iranian ambassador appointed to Lebanon, Mohammad Reza Sheibani, declaring him "persona non grata," and demanding his departure from Lebanese territory. This is a reckless and condemned step that does not serve Lebanon’s supreme national interests, nor its sovereignty or national unity, but rather constitutes a coup against them, a clear submission to foreign pressures and dictates, and a blatant encroachment on the powers of the President of the Republic. The flimsy pretexts upon which this arbitrary decision was based, accusing the ambassador of interfering in the internal affairs of Lebanon, are but further confirmation that it is a malicious political decision par excellence, lacking the minimum of wisdom and national responsibility.

This suspicious measure, which comes at a highly dangerous time, requires Lebanon, to confront it, the solidarity of all its people across their various political, partisan, cultural, and social components, and a unified official stance to strengthen elements of immunity with the aim of imposing a ceasefire on the "israeli" enemy and forcing it to withdraw from the lands it occupies. The Foreign Minister chooses to align with the position that serves only the zionist enemy with his words and actions, and works, knowingly or unknowingly, and stemming from a narrow and spiteful partisan mentality, to weaken the Lebanese state and strip it of the elements of cohesion it needs in this delicate and sensitive phase. He pushes towards making more concessions to serve the enemy, with the aim of paving the way to place all of Lebanon under American-"israeli" tutelage.

What increases the danger and crudeness of this decision is that it comes from the same minister who practices absolute silence regarding the blatant American interventions in Lebanon and regarding the statements of its officials and envoys that insulted Lebanon and incited against it and against a fundamental component within it. However, in contrast, he flexes his muscles before the friendly state that never skimped on supporting and assisting Lebanon, which stood by its people in the darkest circumstances, and contributed to strengthening its ability to protect its land and people, without ever interfering in its internal affairs or violating its sovereignty, but rather maintained good and strong relations with Lebanon.

Hezbollah considers this decision a major national and strategic sin that does not serve national unity, but rather opens the doors to internal division, deepens the national rift, and pushes the country into a highly dangerous path of subservience, weakness, and exposure. Hezbollah calls upon the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister to demand that the Foreign Minister, who now lacks national competence as a result of prioritizing partisan interests over the interest of Lebanon, its security, and its stability, immediately reverse this decision due to its dangerous repercussions. The minister and his party must act with wisdom and deliberation, realize the dangers surrounding Lebanon, and realize that protecting Lebanon's sovereignty is not achieved by submitting to foreign dictates, nor by antagonizing a fundamental component of the homeland or antagonizing the countries that supported Lebanon and stood by its side, but rather through national solidarity and by confronting the only true enemy of this country, which is the zionist enemy.
