Ancient Iranians, 4,000 years ago in the Amlash civilization, gave each other bronze rings with the image of their wives as a sign of their vows, loyalty, and love for their spouses.
Probably rooted in Mithraic views, ancient Iranian religion based on one of their significant ideas, which was regarded as “Loyalty”.

Zarinaia was queen of the Scythians during the reign of Astybaras, the king of Media. This Greek form of her name is derived from a two-part name in the Old Persian language: aya and zari, meaning Golden.
According to Ctesias, who in this case seems to have recounted a true Persian story he heard at the Persian court; Zarinaia was very pretty who was both a ruler and a warrior.
She was said to be the sister and wife of the Scythian king, Cydraeus, who after his death married the Parthian king, Marmaris. Zarinaia was wounded during a battle with the Medes, and Striangaius of Media (the son-in-law of Astybaras) pursued her, but he spared her life and did not kill her. When Striangaius was later captured by Marmaris, Zarinaia rescued him and gave his lands to the Medes.
Later, Before committing suicide, Striangaius wrote her a farewell letter, preserved on a papyrus fragment. Later, Her people built a pyramid shaped tomb for her as memorial.

This nearly complete chess set is one of the earliest examples in the world.
The pieces are abstract: the king is represented as a throne. The Vazir (queen) is a smaller throne. The bishop has two tusk-like protrusions. The knight has a triangular handle representing its head. The rook is a rectangle with a triangle on top. And the pawns are hemispheres facing the handle.
