' Saying this for the people that are coming into Covid cautiousness only rn- y’all can’t use most scientists/orgs as your learning model. You can get some info from them but the basis of your education about this pandemic has to be rooted in the personal experiences of the people not jobs or titles.

The scientific training body lens is the same one that taught OBs and American midwives to killed Black people. I think I have only one epidemiologist left that I’m following. All the rest are racist, ableist, dismiss Long Covid, and only care about something if a lot of money has gone into a program to study it: meaning they bypass small studies and ignore all the millions of people standing around telling them what our damage is to our bodies after Covid and say things like “we just don’t know yet”... ' ...The last one I unfollowed yesterday said that we don’t know if Covid causes immune system damage. Yet the Long Covid pages are full of people with immune system damage.
She also said that the only reason that we have seen increases in things like RSV, the flu, etc for 4 years is because we are all “looking” for sicknesses now.

There is so much research now about Covid damaging T-cells in the body VERY similarly to AIDS. Which is something that disabled people and AIDS survivors told y’all was the case since the beginning. If you are still walking around disconnecting all this other illness from Covid you are a fed.

Many scientists will acknowledge Long Covid disability but then turn around and say that Covid doesn’t damage the immune system as if immune system damage is not also a disability. Feels very much like them saying “yes Covid damages the body but only to those OTHER people over there”

The system wants y’all sick for prison labor, and so that you can not fight back against things like Cop City, or stop them from funding genocide. They dropped the already flimsy Covid isolation period and removed free Covid tests during a time when folks are protesting, gathering, and collectively questioning more things. This is ON PURPOSE.
