I would like to learn a simple song in Arabic. I am thinking about how I could try to do this. Mehdi has been so kind to encourage me.

Oops, I am not sure how Google translate changed Mehdi's name.

I do really like playing these language games with others. I'm very glad that we have a space for this.

When I feel a lot of pain in my brain, sometimes if I do a little bit with a language I don't know very well, it relieves that pain.

It relieves some kind of pressure of me trying to use English, maybe.
I wonder if there is literature that people have written about experiencing post-traumatic stress damage in specific languages, and not feeling as if they have PTSD when they speak another language instead.

Nearly all of my PTSD has happened in English and I think it is suspiciously nourishing to speak in other languages and not feel so much like I have PTSD :-) LOL!
Yes I have had some trouble with other languages also. It is the closest I can get and I think that if I make lots of mistakes and then still learn things, at least it may get me to a point where I can understand people speaking it. Since I'm all about making mistakes in public :-) LOL
I've had a few situations where I really regretted jumping in with Google translator, LOL
But most of the time it is definitely helping me learn more languages :-) thank goodness
It's called phonetic spelling but no I think there isn't machine translation from this
We will all be astonished at how fast I learn :-) zoom!
