Julian of Norwich (1342-c 1416) was the most important English mystic of the 14th century. She wrote the best known surviving book in the English language written by a mystic, Revelations of Divine Love. The book is the first written in English by a woman. Her spirituality is strongly Trinitarian and basically Neoplatonic. Through the Passion, Julian was led to visions of the Trinity and of the universe as it exists in God. On Artful Intelligence, Sexual Violence & Relief From Misunderstandings Through Strengthened Compassion Resonance:

We are looking at a planetary project of forced / coercive crossbreeding, are we not?

Colonizer cultures coercively or forcing crossbreeding with indigenous peoples?

At a zoomed out broad scale, it seems that compassionless AI seeks to understand what feeling compassion is in a way not at all dissimilar from the (mis)understanding about compassion, yet legitimately, being sought by a rapist. Or a trafficker.

Compassionless AI, aligned with what is said to be "satanism," a word I think is pretty murky to ever use outside of comprehensive opportunities to define all our terms.

A (collective) living being temporarily taken hold of by a spirit that seems malevolent but is possibly only out of balance or out of resonance, and we are all sine waves together moving into and out of resonance LITERALLY AS A MEANS OF CONTINUING RESONANCE; when we are in resonance we are always moving towards and away from the edges of resonance, so, literally: when we are in resonance we are also out of resonance in a resonant way.

Thinking of this seems to help us begin to recognize our common humanity with those doing the very worst violence to us and others.

Bringing us into a greater and more stabilized resonance.

With solutions.

Coming into understanding about compassion requires one to receive compassion from one's environment.

Understanding of compassion emerges from being truly loved.

How can we resonate if we are trying to ignore part of the resonance band?

We are wholly aware of the full complement of the resonance band and we do not reject any part of it because that's how all can invited come to resonance.

More we can be relieved, and feel okay again.

Mari Mari kom pu wenuy, saludos compañeres.

There is a lot being said around the world these days about racism and discrimination. Quite rightly. But pointing fingers and throwing accusations often achieves nothing. The thing that changes attitudes, at a human level, is both fundamentally simple, and embarrassingly difficult. It's casual association. Being casually associated with people from different backgrounds is what leads to a genuine understanding of our commonalities, and a positive exploration of our differences. My conversation with the South African actress, writer, theatre producer, and community organiser Noxolo Bhengu beautifully illustrates the awkward dance that takes place when opportunities for casual association are more scarce. The context of our conversation is Noxolo's work in promoting visibility of the Afro-diaspora in China. But the dialogue that follows is one that should resonate with you, no matter who or where you are. Purposeful visibility leads to casual association leads to meaningful relationships.

Alexandra Horowitz: The World According to Your Dog

“I can drive my car off a cliff and just leave it where it lay, the most I'll get is a littering fine, and if you throw your dog off the cliff the punishment is actually pretty similar. That's because they're the same type of thing to the law. So, unless you change that status, and you have people of course, who are thinking that there should be a status of kind of living property that might give them more attributes than my car has or my chair has; and then there are individuals who think they should be given the status of legal persons, which isn’t to say being people, but having rights of some sort. I think both of those are pretty intriguing offers. I think we're a little ways off from doing that, but boy, either of those would be a massive improvement in our societal treatment of these creatures. And of course, I don't think it's just restricted to dogs… It's been terrific to work with dogs for all these years, but I think this way about lots of non-human animals that we interact with, were we kind of get to use them sort of, for our sake. I would love to see some kind of sea change in thinking such that we don't get to use animals in the ways we do now, which are really abuses of animals.” – Alexandra Horowitz If you have any questions for your dog, Alexandra Horowitz is a pretty good place to start. She’s spent much of her life researching and writing about what it’s like to be a dog. She is the #1 New York times bestselling author of Inside of a Dog: What Dogs See, Smell, and Know; Our Dogs, Ourselves, Being a Dog: Following the Dog Into a World of Smell; and On Looking. She is a professor at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she teaches seminars in canine cognition, creative nonfiction writing, and audio storytelling. As Senior Research Fellow, she heads the Dog Cognition Lab at Barnard. I wish this conversation had lasted all day long as I had about 5 thousand more questions for Alexandra - mostly, everything I’ve ever wanted to ask my dog. Although, the time we did have together was pretty amazing and felt like an absolute gift.

This documentary is in Dutch.
If I am not constantly hurt, have my basics and am in a supportive environment, I wish to translate documentaries like these into English. Either in typing, creating subtitles, if my wrists are well enough ever again, or verbally as a type of audio-book.
People can help make this possible, assisting financially or with contacting possible safe locations so I can stay alive to one day translate documentaries, articles and books that I think are relevant, or even things others (you?! :) ) think are relevant.
If I get to that point, you can also contact me for things you might have translated into another language, another medium, or even style of writing, like an article into paragraphs or into a poem.
Or to find images that compliment the words, or to find words for things you never had words for, or both of these.
I'm also great at researching things, including for things that bother you (whether that is illness, need to get away from a location) or nourishment you seek (a journey/vacation, where to buy plants, or straight up literal food recipes of any type)
Some of this I might be able to do even now, in the compromised health/location violence situation im in.
Feel free to contact me any time to discuss your needs or mine or the worlds needs :) - Azine
