thank you Mehdi!
I am laughing, I will learn one day to sing this song :-)
it is very interesting to notice songs I like before I know what the words mean ! And then find out what the words mean! I like this game very much and would like to play it more.

I know that I need to start learning more Arabic that is more simple like for very little children.
I think I have to do that to learn how to speak syllables I'm different words before I can try to learn these popular songs. But also this is a lot of fun :-)

Finally got Spotify to play it for me - for some reason the app opens it up but won't play it directly - I guess I have to figure that out. But on laptop, fine. Beautiful! Thank you!
Although I am aware now that it is cultural appropriation, I grew up from the age of 6-11 years old, watching and learning with my mom how to bellydance. She was an AMAZING dancer. And that is not just cos she's my mom. She was a snake goddess of undulating beauty. Good experiences of being in a small apartment with 6-7 women, livingroom covered in pillows and no furniture and palm plants, and being a little girl sitting on the floor while women danced, brightly colored skirts swirling all around me, durmming filling the space and being completely mesmerized.
Anytime I hear music from anywhere in the Middle East, I wanna dance like this, it being so embedded in my cellular memory. Doesn't matter if the music is older and traditional or modern like this one. I wish I had the energy to do so.

Oh oh oh!! Thank you for sending the link.
'This inspiring project gained momentum and membership and expanded rapidly to include publications and workshops aimed at crafting a new language and culture around mental health and emotional distress. People who had experienced alienation at the hands of psychiatrists, counselors, hospitals, and even mental health advocacy organizations found a home in the Icarus community. Icarus has always had an analysis of mental health and distress as being directly linked to experiences of social oppression and trauma, asking questions like, “What does it mean to be crazy in a world gone mad?”'

Yes this, I would like to find the link to this and put it here also. I see this is about Icarus. Some very interesting things have gone on around the Icarus project. I would love to talk about that more.
