So, I’m in the “family waiting room” today at the local hospital when a surgeon comes in and says this to another couple who were also waiting:

“She came through the operation okay. Took a couple hours longer than I was expecting. We pulled a blood clot out of her that ran from her neck through her torso and halfway down her leg. I had to call in other surgeons because we had never seen anything like this in our combined 70+ years of experience.”

It was all I could do to not ask how many jabs that poor woman had received.
