"The story of the Emperor's New Clothes, first told in 1837, has been told across the world in over a hundred languages. A vain emperor is swindled by two tailors into paying huge sums of money to make him a special outfit made of fabric that only those who are 'unusually stupid' cannot see.
When the emperor parades through the streets in his new outfit, no one dares confess that the emperor is naked for fear that they will be seen as a fool.
In the end it is a child who breaks the silence and says what everyone knows but won't say: 'But he hasn't got anything on.'
Perhaps this story from nearly 200 years ago is so well known the world over because it speaks to us about those in power; how they abuse their power for their own gain and how those around them conspire to support them, taking us all in their wake.
Often it takes a special moment – an act of innocence, in the case of the child – or more often an act of integrity or justice to say what we all suspect but have not said out loud."

Helena Krizek • Helena shares with us her experiences in seeking accountability for clarity and professionalism in communications with patients and families, the importance of recognizing the intersections between medical malpractice and organ trafficking, and how crucial it is to ensure honorable practices in healthcare.
Helena is in the process of creating a website in Bianca's name, which will contain Bianca's story, her pictures, and all the legal documents pertaining to her case. These documents will be uploaded gradually as the trial date approaches, 30th August 2022 in the federal court in Honolulu, Hawaii, Krizek v. Queens Medical Center et al.

Since 2014 or thereabouts (with some intermittent signal interference... to say the least), we've been following the work of Eric Francis Coppolino and the Planet Waves platforms he and his team have built over the years.
Our ability to say what we most need to say has been compromised by the neurological injuries we're still repairing. Part of the way we are able to repair them at all is the Intuitive Public Radio toolsets we're using to share our processing, teach from our experiences, and come to understand better all of us together what has happened.
We're encouraged by responses we've received. Groups are truly and deeply benefiting as we grow this conversation. It's still challenging to feel into and talk about. But we're experiencing the strength being restored. We'll keep going.
