Orange peel infusion for pests 🍊

It can be used to fight a variety of pests (aphids, thrips, etc.).
Pour one liter of water 100 grams of dried orange peels and put in a dark place for three to four days. Ready infusion should be sprayed on plants. Spray every 2-3 days, until the pests have disappeared. It is not necessary to dilute.

Oh! The dirt's not dirty -- and the Earth is worthy -- and we love and we love and we love all the beings.
All men are my brothers; all women my sisters; beloved, all others; our grace to discover...

Foraged this morning: mint leaves & flowers, persicaria longiseta, hibiscus syriacus, vitus riparia (wild river grape leaves), aegopodium podagraria (ground elder or bishops goutweed), musk mallow, yarrow, viola sororia, taraxacum officianale (dandelion leaves!), rubus idaeus (raspberry leaves), beautiful little clover bunches...

...with rain descending, still, from what seems like a clear blue sky,...

...the early morning sunlight waking my skin, magicking my photoreceptors,...

...and glinting golden vital life-force upon every living being in sight.

Your winter project, should you choose to accept it, is to build this that will help keep your berry canes organized and upright to expedite picking. You can build the whole thing out of two by fours if you wish or use posts like you see here. Use hog panel or cattle panel or any thing you got laying aroundπŸ˜€
β€œWhen you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look for reasons it is not doing well.

It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce.

Yet if we have problems with our friends or family, we blame the other person.

But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like the lettuce.

Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason
and argument.

That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change."

' Creating Steep Hugel Beds: A Guide to Increased Garden Efficiency

Steep hugel beds, a variant of the hugelkultur gardening technique, are gaining popularity for their ability to enhance soil fertility, conserve water, and boost plant productivity. Recommended by permaculturist Sepp Holzer, these elevated garden beds have distinct advantages:

- Compaction Prevention: The steep slope minimizes soil compaction from foot traffic.
- Increased Surface Area: More planting space allows for greater crop diversity.
- Easy Harvesting: Height reduces the need for bending, easing '
