Is Your Food Really Organic? Does It Matter?
Currently, there are “100% organic” or “organic” labels, which both require certification. However, products labeled “organic” may contain 5% non-certified organic materials. If the product says “made with organic,” only 70% of the ingredients must be organic. Products marked with “organic ingredients” do not require certification or a minimum amount of organic ingredients.

In Dad's:
Leaf lettuce, carrot greens, broccoli micro greens and basil microgreens, celery, purple heirloom tomato avocado, carrot, turnip, pecans and walnuts, cranberries, black currants, blueberries
Steamed brussel sprouts, broccolini, celery, and turnip with a tiny bit of turmeric powder and black pepper
I think perhaps an errant buckwheat groats
And some chicken that was in the fridge
Olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and fresh squeezed lemon juice
And lemonade.

343: Cure Your Fatigue and Slow Down the Aging Process
343: Cure Your Fatigue

Mineral deficiencies could be at the root of much of our fatigue and illness. The proper balance of magnesium, copper, and iron can go far in restoring our health and curing our fatigue. Today, Morley Robbins, author of "Cure Your Fatigue" and founder of The Root Cause Protocol, offers insights on this topic. He explains how to achieve the proper balance of core minerals–copper, iron, and magnesium–to turn things around and restore the body’s balance. And he discusses where these minerals are found to incorporate them into the diet, absorb the critical nutrients, and improve our health and energy levels. Starting to compile some questions here. Grateful for better wording and more ideas.
Questions for purveyors of animal protein foods, farmers, and carers of animals - cows t.me/intuitivepredator/154
Questions for purveyors of animal protein foods, farmers, and carers of animals - chickens t.me/intuitivepredator/155
How we respect and care for these animals is of utmost priority if we conceive of ourselves as being in respectful, honorable relationship with these animal communities.
They are feeding us and saving our lives, and we owe them tremendously.
Not only must we be sure they are not being mistreated, we must be sure that our interactions with them are actually strengthening us honorably so that we can preserve and protect their living communities.
If we let governments and criminal so-called health organizations require us to hurt or sicken the animals in a way that would then hurt or sicken us when we eat from those animal communities, we are dishonoring the animals, dishonoring the sacrifice those animals are making to save our lives, and we are destroying our own ability to be in right relationship with those animal communities.
For us to be healthy and strong, for us to be good and honorable, we stay close to this and must be very mindful of it at all times.

"in 1672, a mob of angry Dutch killed and ate their prime minister. Options. Just sayin'."
I ran across this and there is something about the angle of the humor that has stuck in my brain. I wasn't going to bring it here, and then it was like I couldn't help myself. Could I help myself? That is an interesting question. Here is some interestingly angled humor on what we know is ongoing terrible violence. I'm very interested in more conversation about this. --@maxmorris
PS - I mean not because I want to eat any prime ministers. But there's something else about it. I thought I'd clarify that part :-)
PPS - I think something about it for me is how people or populations have radical responses after long periods of time of insufficient responses, and what that energy pattern is about. I'm also thinking about the conversations and intuitive edible
i said etymology but it wrote intuitive edible which I think is hilarious
In intuitive etymology about patterns of forms, movements, and meanings
Certainly there are consequences for humans choosing to eat one another
And also other kinds of consequences to missing or forestalling one's survival reflex until ones response to ongoing violence is extreme in such a way
I think that's the part I especially want to dwell on for a while in conversation and maybe actually never stop talking about it, it seems like a really good subject intersection
Additional notes from more recent conversations: There have been more great discussions about this kind of thing recently. There are diverse ideas and reflections that have been offered about it and they have been so valuable to us. We are posting it again so that we can talk about it more in a public space in addition to the less public spaces we've been talking about it.
