BREAKING: The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals just rejected TransCanada's appeal to overturn a decision made last year to stop "Pre-Construction" of its dirty #TarSands pipeline, #KeystoneXL! This is huge! It stops any construction of Man Camps along the proposed route and halts efforts to do preparation work for the project - while a full environmental review is conducted by the State Dept.
TransCanada has stated in court documents that if they were not to get this decision appealed, the project could be delayed for another entire year!
This decision is a part of a lawsuit filed by a number of organizations, including plaintiff The Indigenous Environmental Network! #NOKxl #PromisetoProtect
