"Organización de Mujeres Wichi Tahñi Le Pak" "La voz del Monte" defienden el monte nativo de la destrucción por parte de un terrateniente de apellido Ferrari. Sosteniendo un acampe comunitario desde diciembre del 22', dónde ancianas y niñeces son parte de ésta defensa territorial, poniendo sus vidas en riesgo.
📍Nuestra hermana weychafe de la #NaciónMapuche Soledad Cayunao sigue en pie, fortalecida por el gran apoyo junto a Les Defensores del Río Chubut, quienes están defendiendo todo el extenso territorio del cordón montañoso de Alto Río Chubut, Arroyo Las Minas en Río Negro. Muchas de estas tierras fueron apropiadas por capitales extranjeros con proyectos terricidas en los últimos años. Aún estamos a tiempo de impedir que avancen con el alambrado ilegal que están tendiendo, con el propósito de privatizar las Nacientes del Río Chubut, río que recorre 800km hasta llegar al mar, cruzando toda la meseta patagónica. No podemos permitir que nos roben el agua dulce, generando sequía y muerte.

Que las personas sepan que somos nosotres quienes estamos protegiendo las fuentes de agua dulce, el monte nativo que queda, los cerros que aún no han sido explotados.
Hacemos un llamado a la responsabilidad de les periodistas a chequear la información con quienes deben hacerlo y no dejar que los dueños de sus canales de TV y diarios les hagan desinformar para privilegiar intereses privados y económicos, por que de esta manera trabajan en complicidad con capitales extranjeros que sólo quieren saquearnos y destruir los territorios que nosotres habitamos.

In 2021, La Lof Cayunao stopped the advance of the wire fence at the source of the Chubut River, denouncing the foreign usurpers.
