My great desire is to focus on the community members who are at risk. Yes.

Most of our infrastructure now is created with the intention of providing resources to community members at risk.

One of our blocks right now is that we cannot reach members of certain communities because of the problems I've been describing, problems in communicating.

I am still not able to reach members in communities that I know to be at risk most greatly because when I reach out to people and professionals who are part of those communities, they keep me from continuing the conversation.

So I am very worried about others in the same situations that I was in, where I was before, where these things were happening.

Because I know that the people in charge are still denying there is any danger of sex trafficking.

Some of them seem to be involved in a strange kind of possibly subconscious (???) sex trafficking.

One or two people, possibly consciously and directly.

Others are perpetuating the dangerous social patterns and failing to help stop them -- though they themselves are adversely affected.

This isn't about identifying some single bad person or small group of bad people who have to be locked up.

This is about changing our community patterns together so that by default we protect one another's sexuality, and we protect one another from trauma.

Doing that makes us safe from sex trafficking in a way that nothing else does.

Every day I want to know how I can reach the people who need this.

I know that they cannot communicate as well as I can.

First order of business is each public, professional individual who did not respond to my outreach and requests for help while I was being trafficked.

Public radio segments. I am not the only person in these segments. Who joins me in these segments?

I am going one at a time through this list, publishing the outreach I wrote or recorded in 2015 or 2016, and describing my experience.

Describing what it means for others to fail to notice what is happening to me.

Then I am telling them about Zia, and several others. They will respond.

If they don't, their name is already part of our story in public as a person who did not see -- and now has the chance to.

That is their donation to this effort.

That is their contribution to the safety of their communities.

This is what I must focus on entirely in order to be of service to Zia or others.

Every other survivor of trafficking or related circumstances is invited to be part of this public conversation on the basis of what they need to communicate in public.

Please help me invite trafficking survivors, individuals with lived experience, their friends and loved ones, and professionals in their communities into this public conversation.

Please help me invite first responders *and all others with courage of heart* to recognize that this conversation is needed...

That they and we have been misled about the safest ways to help certain members of our communities...

And that to prevent first responders, police, social services professionals, and others from inadvertently harming those they work hard to help -- even risking their lives on a daily basis to protect -- we must talk about these situations extensively in public, caring community.
