We are developing ways for under-represented individuals to support one another & be supported in community.

We focus on creating specific benefits, like:

collaborative income streams,

social engagement,

increased safety.

Our efforts center survivors of extremity, those who are disabled and marginalized, & particularly those who are sensitive to environmental considerations.

Every individual, regardless of whether they resonate with the above descriptions for themselves, has invisible experience & the need for belonging & respect in community.

Community inaccessibility has affected all of us -- because every one of us needs something crucial from community.

We are creating community resources for all of us together, to improve access & relief for everybody.

Each person has the right to self-determination for their own body,

gets to say if they are harmed,

gets to say what makes them better,

deserve to be believed,

deserve to be helped with kindness and caring.
We create our safe environments to be experimental expression spaces where survivors of severe trauma

can be honest

and work to heal themselves

and help to heal their communities

together

by expressing that honesty in healthful and productive ways,

often also connected to developing the security of survivor-led income streams.
We help people with less severe experience to understand the lives and work of those with more severe experience,

with daily opportunities to practice

how we support one another

rather than assuming that severe experience makes us or anyone else disposable.
We start from the premise that every living being has their own best work that they are suited to do.

They are the only organisms that can say what that work is, and how it heals them.
We start from the premise that even if someone has been harmed, endangered, or traumatized

even if they have endured significant damage

even if they seem inscrutable to many others

they are still the final authority on their best work

and how they wish to contribute to their communities.
They are still the final authority on the help they need

and how they need to get that help

in order to get back to doing their best work

and thrive in healing collaborations with their communities.
Each person can only do their best work when supported with kindness and caring by others who share community with them.
We help every person build community that increases their safety and the safety of their families.

We help connect individuals

in learning relationships,

practicing patterns of collaboration,

creating new income streams together,

showing that there is a different way to heal our culture

through helping and sharing nourishment.
Together we are growing a community of survivors of severe experiences with their friends, loved ones, allies, & accomplices,

who, with the love and strength of the communities they are building

and the emergent community capacities they are discovering,

are achieving new, profound relief in problem-solving.
We coordinate community support and crisis aid

on the basis of learning, as part of our community relationships, how to work together most effectively.

This means that we believe survivors and help them,

even if the help we are able to coordinate is limited to our abilities to listen, hear, and validate one another.
This is no small kind of assistance.

It has exponentially positive effects.

Sometimes, it shows us options we didn't know were there

and gives us the resilience to act on them in measured, practical, and life-saving ways

improving the extreme situations that lead to extreme symptoms for those severely affected.

This is the power of a caring community -- no matter what other resources it may be lacking.
