We are developing an ongoing collective practice of turning microphones off or on in public chat spaces as well as public channels. This helps us to flow opportunities for dialogue between different participants and highlight opportunities to listen or speak. As we move through conversational rhythms together, you may notice randomly that your microphone is off while other portions of conversation are being facilitated. Whenever this happens, consider taking that opportunity to really listen and absorb what is happening in the space. Breathing and self care are important to the success of our inclusive conversations. It can also be helpful to sit deeply and presently with the experiences others are sharing.
