Ashanti Williams is a Black female farmer, raised and nurtured by activists and land stewards of the Carolinas and the Bronx. She is passionate about working and learning alongside animals in an effort to create sustainable farm systems that are accessible to Black people. The access to safe learning environments around raising animals as a person of color has not been readily available to her which propelled her to work towards creating them with the Blackyard Farm Cooperative. The Blackyard Farm Cooperative was created by five young Black and Latinx farmers/entrepreneurs in the Bronx working together to build a supportive community for Black farmers and creatives. In their words: It's no coincidence that the people in this country who are most affected by food insecurity have the least access and control of the production of our food. This needs to change. It is crucial that we have autonomy over our food system. The Blackyard Farm Cooperative is dedicated to disrupting the racist and exclusionary spaces that prevent Black farmers from connecting to the land and healing. Hot flashes and goosebumps at once is a hella weird feeling. Honestly, my temperature has never been able to stabilize properly but this is...laughable. never stood a chance!

Slowed down again cuz even though I have healed a lot, new shit was uncovered. And I have to readjust as I figure out what's online for each day.

Yes, it gets better. Also, worse, somehow.

Few days without gaba, though, which I was expecting but not knowing what to expect from. Not as painful as expected yet, but very very wobbly and can't speak to save my life... I don't think I ever really went in detail about the stuttering, both in my thoughts, and in speech...I never thought about why they happened and didn't fully recognize that's not normal. I didn't realize what it meant before this week, really.

But now I get to study it up close.

Will have my gaba early next week. I'm technically fine, just several new levels of useless for a bit. Thankfully, though it's the source of the hot flashes, the Ori keeps enough of the endo at bay for maybe less than 50% of my body to be inflamed at any given moment.

Oh, well there it is. I've been walking around on fire all my life. Time to stop, drop, and roll. Anyway, so ac is up and on so I don't shrivel up and die.

This isn't addressed to anyone in particular; it, like most of my posts, is just a note. (Everything's on random)
