' Mars Conjunct Chiron: The Initiation

We are about to experience the first Mars conjunction to Chiron in Aries. The most recent conjunction of Mars to Chiron occurred in late Pisces on Dec. 29, 2018, during Chiron's transition from Pisces to Aries. Mars and Chiron are conjunct about every two years, following the cycle of Mars.

I could say a lot about this aspect -- it's one of my favorites of the lot, inviting the full activation of Chiron by Mars. However, in Aries, this aspect has special meaning. That's because I consider Aries to be the scene of the crime where electrical technology has turned people into a swarm of tribal robots.

This aspect, exact July 14, can have a few possible manifestations. Under the best circumstances (balanced person, communicative environment), it's about the healthy and bold expression of individuality. Chiron's mission is to turn injuries and wounds into healing gifts. This happens over time, with experience and maturity.

Under less ideal circumstances, this aspect could provoke a deep feeling of injury, related to the sensation of loss of identity. As the McLuhans have noted, violence is an attempt to find one's identity. Total immersion in electrical technology, particularly digital technology, has gone a long way to deplete people's sense of being.

So this could also result in the eruption of aggression and conflict as associated with being clueless about one's actual reality -- which would be a misplaced attempt to "find oneself." I guess we have to resort to desperate measures after living online for 20 years -- that makes anything and everything in the physical world too dangerous to even consider.

In the end, that is what we're experiencing with this whole virus thingie: the reason it's the result of digital consciousness is not just that it's been amplified and distorted by social media and 24-hour news feeds, which make it impossible to tell which way is up, unless you work with a research team.

The real crisis is that from the cool, clean, and most of all disembodied standpoint of the digital universe, anything pertaining to the body is diseased and disgusting. And that has taken us a long way from home. '

I really do honestly believe that we can believe in Facebook, we can love Facebook in a way that helps it change to help us, too.

It's important that we do that without letting Facebook harm us any further.

Both components are needed for safety and satisfaction.

We must be done solving old problems by making new demons.

We don't need another demon.

We need inclusive community resources, litmus for trust, and ongoing relationship building.

' Thanks to everybody for the birthday wishes! :) Had a very quiet one under quarantine but in a large house in a small town near Bern in Switzerland. Great company and nice food though, I had a enjoyable day. The birthday greetings were most happily received especially being stuck in the same building all day lol.

So now I'm 51, what a crazy year that was as it was for most people on this planet. In a funny way in retrospect it feels like life beginning at 50. All the various happenings in the world covid, recessions, climate related stuff, brexit, riots, wars and rumours of wars; have had a really motivating effect on me. I've definitely moved into a higher gear and my mind has really come alive, so pardon my absence from social media and what may seem like a communication black out. I've just been totally focused and really driven this past year.

The public talks have stopped for obvious reasons, but this has freed up time for computer programming and getting the overall message together and ready for communicating. But mainly it's been working on the thing I talk about, at the end of both the 'Quest' and 'Fractal Brain Theory' books, i.e. the Start Up at the End of Time. The start-up needs code, lots of it, and that does useful things. So this is what I'm working on, i.e. the implementation of the fractal brain/genome theory into practical and useful technology. At the end of the 'Revolutionary movements and How to Start One' talk I mention the idea of the creation of true AI as being the real life realization of the mythic motif of the 'sword in the stone'. This is so much more so than back in 2011/2012 when I was doing that particular talk a lot. Artificial intelligence gets so much attention these days, so this is the critical task that when completed, enables and fast tracks so much else, even a global transformation.

Also in the pipeline is what I've been talking about and promising for years but have never had the time to do properly, which is to output the entire message and worldview in neat green screen video format with all the diagrams and animations edited in. This will spread the message far more effectively and widely than the public talks so along with the computer programming this is what I'll be doing in the year and years to come.

There will be a few zoom talks coming soon which I've agreed to do for various University societies but still need to arrange the exact dates and times, more info on this to come, stay tuned! '
