While visiting an art gallery in the city, this piece stood out. Despite being priced at 700 USD, its message hit me: reality as the 'master frame’, a pill that must be swallowed constantly in the time-space continuum. in the architecture of existence, reality…
Master Frame & Subframe
Reality = The Unpalatable Pill like a server that can't be controlled with client device.
📡 You don’t control the server (master frame). it just delivers reality.
📱 Your experience depends on how well your client (subframe) handles the incoming data.
🌬 You’re swallowing the pill of reality with every breath.
🛠 Stop trying to control the server. Optimize the client instead.
for a high-agency individual, understanding this impersonal nature of reality means they do not futilely project their desires onto the external world, such as thinking it "shouldn't rain on my birthday"
when an individual truly learns to handle reality, their actions shift from being reactive attempts to make themselves "feel better" to being constructive efforts to "help the situation".
this is the hallmark of high agency, as exemplified by figures like Gandhi, King, and Mandela who "handled it" and then acted from a place of clarity and purpose, not personal inability.

Why you should read theory? Because, it gives you FRAME.

Reading theory can make everything more interesting and engaging. It provides a unique "Frame" through which to view art, politics, literature, and even everyday life.
Theory is not designed for passive consumption; it often assumes prior knowledge and challenges readers to delve deeper, raising more questions than it answers initially.

Why Facts Don’t Change Minds in the Culture Wars—Structure Does
Why do facts bounce off some people? It’s not about logic; it’s about structure. Your worldview isn’t a list of opinions—it's a living network. And right now, it's at war.

Interplay of Frames.
center of gravity is fundamental to framing because it ensures both physical stability and a coherent visual balance, crucial for structural integrity and effective presentation of any framed object.
the art of kinetic sculpture is as much about the invisible rules of physics as about the visible rules of framing: both must be understood and played with in order to achieve works that are both stable and compelling.

Celtic Poem of Approach.
This poem frames a spirit of unconditional acceptance and non-attachment, with lines such as:
"I will honour your Gods, I will drink from your well. I bring an undefended heart to our meeting place. I will not negotiate by withholding, I am not subject to disappointment. I have no cherished outcome"

Explanation Frames.
Bad Explanations:
Vague, ad hoc, easily varied (e.g. “because that’s how nature is”).
Good Explanations:
Hard to vary without losing explanatory power; they reveal why things must be the way they are under deeper principles.
