Statutory Update for GST and Income tax for Nov 20 has been released by ICAI
As promised by me, I wl upload the amendment video for Nov 20 in this week itself

In my earlier video, I had said that there wont b any amendments for Income tax for Nov 20 since Finance Act 2019 will.b applicable for Nov 20 also
In Statutory update ICAI has made few clarifications applicable for you. So would be discussing these clarifications also in amendment video

So ICAI has finally brought relaxation for Direct Entry students. Brief explanation of what is the eligibility criteria for student who wishes to appear in May 2021 exams

1) Student should have registered provisionally before 31st July 2020
2) Student should start articleship on or before 15h Sep (Articleship can now b started based on provisional registration only)
3) Student needs to complete ITT and OT before 31st Dec 2020 (allowed to b done virtually)
4) Student needs to upload result of Final year/semester of graduation/Post graduation having scored 55% marks atleast (60% in case of Non commerce students) before filing exam form for May 21 exams (that process would be done in Feb 2021)

What is the Problem with this notification as per me:-

This notification has relaxed conditions only for students who registered provisionally before 31st July 2020. Many students were so confused about what to do that they didnt register provisionally till now and waited for ICAI clarification
If a student reads this notification today and decides to provisionally register, then he can give Nov 2021 only and not May 2021
