Well, apart from these MCQs m also going to keep posting some MCQs here. These wont b ICAI questions for CA Inter but similar ones can be asked.
U have to answer it here and after few hours i wl share the answer plus reasoning as well
So heres the first MCQ from GST
Would share the answer 2moro morning.
The correct answer is (D) - No.need for registratiom

Many students opted for (c) just by reading the word ECO. But the thing was that assessee was providing 'services' through ECO and not goods. In case of services not covered by 9(5) we have an exemption under sec 23. So sec 24 read with that exemption makes registration requirement only if Aggregate turnover exceeds 20L/10L. Accordingly no registration required.
I knew many students would make the mistake and around 42% students actually made that mistake.
Thats the thing to take care of. Read the question carefully, think abt all possible.sections that can apply and then answer. If u jump to conclusions, examiner would trap u

The answer to above MCQ is (D)...
This is a very nice question since it involves 2 different chapters. Firstly as per section 15, excise duty and freight would be added to value of goods. Secondly, the definition of aggregate turnover makes it clear that any inward supplies subject to RCM would not be covered under aggregate turnover.

Thr correct answer is B
As per updated provisions, time of supply in case of goods arises at earlier of following two dates:-
1) Date of issue of invoicre
2) Last date of issuing invoice as per sec 31
As per sec 31, in case of goods, Invoice has to be issued before the dispatch of goods.
Accordingly, in above case Time of supply will be 5th May 2019 i.e. the date when the goods are dispatched for delivery.
M happy that majority students got this one right
