After COVID-19, the human rights of Chinese citizens have significantly deteriorated

According to Taiwan's Central News Agency (CNA). The Human Freedom Index report for 2023 reveals that following the COVID-19 pandemic, human rights have seriously deteriorated. Among 165 jurisdictions, Switzerland continues to have the highest human freedom index, Taiwan ranks 12th, the highest in Asia, China ranks 149th, and Vietnam ranks 132nd. These results are from the "Freedom in the World 2023" report from March this year
