In a post to the platform, Elon Musk said that X- formerly Twitter-will remove both the like and retweet buttons from the timeline. Specifically, Musk stated that the platform will "remove all the action buttons" from the timeline in order to "improve readability."

The post states that the view count is the only figure to display on a timeline. However, Musk assured you that would only be the case until you clicked on the post. Moreover, statements from employees have given a better look at the development and how it could change the timeline.

Spain’s Canary Islands see nearly 900 migrant arrivals in 1 day - Anadolu

At least 881 migrants from Africa arrived in small boats to Spain’s Canary Islands on Friday, coast guards told Spanish broadcaster TVE. 

More than half were rescued off the coast of the small island of El Hierro, which has a population of just over 11,000.

On Thursday, the local government of El Hierro released an institutional statement, warning that this is the “beginning of a mass exodus of migrants,” mainly coming from Senegal, according to the data they received from nongovernmental organizations and state information.
