We have observed marine tremors activity on the Portuguese Azores Islands since the beginning of October

The Azores-Gibraltar transform fault is a major seismic zone in the eastern Atlantic Ocean between the Azores and the Strait of Gibraltar.

After several continuous tremors, seismic energy was transferred from the islands, and two marine tremors occurred today off the coast of Morocco and the Iceland earthquake. These faults are linked to the Alboran Sea fault off the coast of Morocco and off the coast of Gibraltar, Spain, Portugal and the Atlantic Ocean, passing through.

The Silvra Fault - Iceland is part of the Atlantic Fault, and separates the rocky geosphere of the North American continent from the one of Eurasia. If there is continuous seismic activity in this region, transmission of earthquakes occurs through the associated faults. A tremor or earthquake may occur in these places, and so on.
