GERMANY – Unknown persons stole a "rainbow flag" on a forecourt at Neubrandenburg train station (Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) on Saturday night and hoisted a swastika flag in its place. After a passer-by pointed this out at around 6.30 a.m. on Saturday, the police seized the flag with the NS symbol , as a police spokeswoman said.The state security is investigating on suspicion of using license plates of unconstitutional organizations.

THE NETHERLANDS – Two people and a gunman have been injured in a shooting at a summer carnival in the Dutch city of Rotterdam.

Three people have been arrested following the shooting on Saturday night. Police say one of the victims who was shot has been taken to hospital, alongside the gunman who was shot by police several times moments after.
