An MIT-backed militias claimed responsibility for the attack in Damascus!

Asab al-Hamra—a radical jihadist group that was previously part of HTS and now operates under MIT coordination—claimed responsibility for the attack.

🧵New Plan: Sunni Belt in Southern Syria

While attacks continue in southern Syria, the Damascus government, which is trying to bring the entire region under its full control, has activated the plan to create a "Sunni Belt" with MİT (Turkish National Intelligence Organization) support.

A military force of approximately 300 radical jihadist militants from Idlib has been sent to the Bamlika region in Tartus province on the coast, under MİT coordination. Hundreds of militants and their families from Deir ez-Zor, especially militant leaders and their families who participated in massacres in Suwayda and Syria’s coastal regions, have been relocated to Damascus and its countryside under the pretext that “their homes and properties were flooded.”

These militant families have been settled in areas such as the Zebedani road in Damascus, the Miezemiye neighborhoods, Yusuf El-Ezme neighborhoods, Heres El Cumhur neighborhoods, El-Werd neighborhood, and Mezze 68 neighborhood.

The person managing the Damascus leg of the plan is İsam Biweydanî (code name: Abu Hemam), who was assigned by HTS intelligence. The executor of the plan in Syria’s coastal regions has been identified as the militant leader Ebu Abdurrahman Duma.

On the other hand, MİT has decided to transfer the 62nd Brigade, which is under its influence within the Syrian army, to the Syrian coast. Many of the militants sent to the region previously took part in the massacres carried out in southern Syria.

The people of the rural areas of Al-Hasakah are emptying their villages and heading toward other parts of Syria and Lebanon due to the worsening living conditions and the lack of job opportunities since the withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the takeover of these areas by the al-Qaeda government (Damascus).
