Large fires have broken out in agricultural lands in the countryside of Hasakah, as well as in the rural areas of Qamishlo, Tel Koçer (al-Ya‘rubiyah), and Tirbespiyê (Qamîşlo countryside), with hundreds of dunams of farmland burned as a result of deliberate acts of arson.

Two people from Tel Brak, an area under the control of the Jolani government (Damascus), were reportedly arrested after being caught red-handed setting fire to agricultural crops. According to circulating reports, the two are said to belong to a larger network operating under coordination and orders from Turkish intelligence.

The people of Til Temir blocked the M4 highway in protest against the deteriorating economic situation.
Their only source of livelihood, their agricultural lands, were burned by the Turkish state and its affiliated militias. Now, the interim Damascus government has raised fuel prices and is cutting off electricity to the people.
