ShamCash, an Android application developed for electronic payments and money transfers in Syria, has created a major security vulnerability contrary to what is commonly believed, and has been fully exposed by independent digital researchers.
The independent digital researchers who prepared the report identified the Turkish company NorthSoft as the probable developer of the application and ShamLogix as the technical developer of the API layer. Although both companies developed this program, they have not included it in any of their official documents.

The village head of Dersiwan village in the Afrin countryside was shot dead.
Local sources reported that the head of Dersiwan village in the Sherawa district of the Afrin countryside, Wahid Abu Bakr Sheikh Salih (Ebu Bakr Brazi), lost his life on the evening of Wednesday, June 3, 2026, after being shot by unknown gunmen.
According to sources, unknown people on a motorcycle targeted the village head, Wahid Abu Bakr Sheikh Salih, with several bullets on the road to Dersiwan village, causing him to be seriously injured.
The sources also said that Abu Bakr Brazi was taken to the Azaz city hospital for treatment, but died there from his serious injuries.
