🚨URGENT/ATTENTION
A minibus belonging to the 64th Division, a Turkish state-backed unit operating within the STG, was ambushed by two armed men on a motorcycle. The attack took place west of the Aliya suburbs and resulted in the deaths of five people and injuries to two others.
The attack, carried out using ISIS tactics, is being blamed on the SDF by HTS intelligence and Turkish intelligence channels and agencies, in an attempt to disrupt the integration process.
They are trying to distort the event by circulating old footage.
But the targeted bus was on the Hasakah-Ras al-Ayn road. Furthermore, the attack took place within their own territory.

US President Trump:
„They have no guns . Yeah, we thought the Kurds were going to give us weapons, but the Kurds disappointed us. The Kurds take, take, take. They have a great reputation in Congress. Congress says, oh, they fight so hard. No, they fight hard when they get paid . So I'm very disappointed. We sent some guns with ammunition and they were supposed to be delivered, but they kept it“
His claims have been downgraded to „some guns“ by himself but he continues to insist that there was a delivery of weapons.
He states „the Kurds“ without specifying which factions he is talking about - leaving a lot of room for speculation which subsequently gets exploited by nations and factions hostile to the Kurds; I assess that to be intentional to further pressure the Kurds.
After all, the USA wants us Kurds to attack the Iranian regime without having to provide any guarantees to the Kurdish people.
Aside from that, „Iranian opposition“ is a very broad term as well - which includes the Kurdish factions from Rojhelat (eastern Kurdistan, western Iran) as well - it is entirely possible that the whole ordeal is about the delivery of arms to Kurdish factions from Rojhelat which the KRG refused to hand over to these factions as to not drag the KRG into a war with Iran.
It is not a realistic scenario that any Kurdish faction is capable of smuggling weapons on a larger scale into Persian areas - therefore it is equally unrealistic to assume that these weapons were intended to be delivered to the *Iranian opposition* in the sense of the people in opposition to the regime in for example Teheran.
No matter wether one believes the statements from Trump or not - in itself, if arms were really delivered - the outcome of an armed uprising with a thousand armed militiamen can only be speculated about but every realistic assessment would conclude that it would’ve not resulted in regime change/collapse or the much prophesied chain reaction of uprisings.
As it stands now, Iran retains 70+% of their pre war arsenal of missiles and drones, they control the strait of Hormuz, can strike its neighbours at will and the USA is seriously engaging in negotiations with Iran.
For the KRG and the Kurdish people, it would have devastating consequences if we would’ve committed to the US plan of attack.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack!
The false news spread by channels linked to MIT and HTS intelligence backfired.
The ISIS gloats about it's attack, in which 6 STG soldiers were killed and injured in a bus attack in Hasakah, reminiscent of previous Islamic State ambushes on buses of Assad's Syrian Arab Army and STG.
"By the grace of Allah Almighty, the soldiers of the Caliphate ambushed one of the buses of the apostate Syrian army on the road to the village of Al-Aliyah yesterday, targeting it with machine guns, which led to the killing and wounding of at least 6 elements. The mujahideen returned to their positions safely, and all praise is due to Allah."

Trump Finds His Scapegoat for a Failed Iran Strategy: the Kurds
• Trump accuses “the Kurds” of diverting weapons he says were intended for Iranian anti-regime protesters. The allegation is not new, and a limited weapons delivery appears to have occurred, but his repeated emphasis is telling: it points to the wreckage of a broader strategy and to Trump’s search for someone to blame.
