The individual mentioned, Abdulsalam Adnan al-Matar, is from the people and residents of Reshwaniya village, located north of Qamishli. When the organization arrived in the region, the aforementioned person pledged allegiance to ISIS and remained with them. He stayed active within ISIS until the area was liberated from Tel Hamis by the YPG. Afterwards, he went with the organization (ISIS) to the city of al-Shaddadi. Some time later, he crossed into Turkey and settled in the Urfa region.

At the end of 2016, he began working with a Turkish intelligence officer. He worked with a MIT officer codenamed “Murad” and was involved in several important files. These included the surveillance of the following individuals:

Later, he worked in the Deir ez-Zor countryside in the field of intelligence and security.

Currently, he is located in al-Hasakah province, in the al-Shaddadi subdistrict. According to the information obtained, he is working as an administrative official in the intelligence branch covering the areas of al-Shaddadi, al-Hol, Tel Brak, and Tel Hamis.
