Update | Raqqa: The killer of the civilian “Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Ramadan” is a member of the General Security militias named “Malik Al-Mustafa.” According to local sources, the dispute was caused by drug trafficking, specifically a local type of drug called “Shabou” or locally referred to as “H-Boz.”

According to information obtained from our special sources; Ahmed Razzaq al-Hattab, known by the pseudonym Abu Mahmud al-Hattab, has been appointed as Honorary Brigadier General to the command of the 52nd Division in the Homs Governorate. He is a native of this governorate and was previously a member of the extremist ISIS group. He was later sent to northern Syria by Turkish intelligence to implement Turkish directives in the region.

Subsequently, as part of Turkish arrangements aimed at re-establishing ISIS influence centers under the guise of legitimacy, he was officially appointed to this position within the new Syrian government. This appointment should be seen as part of a strategy to fully reintegrate extremist elements into the Syrian state apparatus with complete legitimacy.
