ISIS released a propaganda video titled “Al-Barakah” from its so-called Sham Province, reportedly filmed in Hasake Governorate. The video opens with a reference to Baghouz, the group’s last territorial stronghold, and emphasizes “patience” while signaling a new phase focused on freeing detained members and continuing armed operations.

The footage includes scenes of women and children linked to ISIS families, as well as individuals presented as escaped prisoners and displaced civilians, likely filmed south of Hasake. Analysts say the video aims to revive a victimhood narrative, exploit current political and security tensions, and reposition ISIS media messaging after years of decline.

Military forces will not enter any Kurdish city or village.
A security force will enter the security squares in Hasakah and Qamishlo to activate civilian institutions, and then withdraw from the cities.
The most important point of the agreement is the ceasefire.
Asayish forces will protect the security and stability of the region.
On the 27th of the month, a meeting was held with Jolani, and an agreement was signed. The key point reached was the ceasefire.
There were major plans aimed at exterminating the peoples of North and East Syria, and these plans were foiled thanks to the resistance of our forces and the unity of the people with them.
Our people should feel fully reassured and not fear these agreements. Only the Asayish forces will remain to protect all Kurdish cities.
A limited number of personnel from the “Internal Security Forces affiliated with Damascus” will enter Hasakah and Qamishlo. Their mission will be limited to coordination and integration, after which they will withdraw.

🚨URGENT/ATTENTION

According to information we obtained from regional sources, 85 foreign ISIS militants, released from the Al Hol camp by forces loyal to the interim Damascus government, entered the villages of Safa near Til Koçer and Til Hamis looting homes and attempting to abduct young girls. Local residents stated that the militants' Arabic accents did not resemble Syrian Arabic.

Druze take to the streets demanding "self-determination

People gathered in El-Karama Square in As-Suwayda Governorate are demanding independence.

Legal Advisor of the President for Tribal and Clan Affairs Sheikh Jihad Issa Sheikh zakor ahmed in Raqqa: "I reassure our Kurdish people once again: do not worry, there is nothing to fear. This should be viewed from another perspective.
The Syrian Government is admitting hereby that Raqqah, Deirezzor and Hassakeh province are in a state of chaos right now.
The STG media denied that this was the case.
It’s also an indirect confirmation that the Kurdish people residing in these regions were subjected to crimes and violence by the Syrian Government.

CPT-IK for example has verified the report of a Kurdish cook who was beheaded by Syrian Government Forces in Raqqa (Mansoura)

This is by now a pattern; a strategy even.

Syrian Government Media First denies the reports and actively spreads disinformation to discredit the local reports and testimonies - after the STG consolidates their position, the STG directly or indirectly confirms the reports.

Yesterday a Syrian researcher posted a thread highlighting that the Syrian Government has dismissed a Syrian General/Commander for launching the operation to seize Raqqa and Deirezzor.
He argues that this a sign of nation building as it implies that the STG is punishing those who act outside of the command structure of the STG; while this is certainly true - from another angle:
This is also evidence that the Syrian Government does not have control over its forces nor military command.
The operation to seize Raqqa and DeZ was not planned to be carried out in this manner and time period.
This is important for 2 things:
1. The STG has proven with this operation that they do not abide by the orders given by the USA; further: it is evidence that the Jolani administration does not have full control over its military. The USA does not have tolerance for this behaviour and it will show its consequences in the long run.
2. The STG was not prepared for the takeover of Raqqa and DeZ; it leaves a major security vacuum open and the resources+measures to stabilise the regions will have to be improvised.
If the Jolani administration would’ve wanted to take over these regions properly, they would’ve used their military instead of relying on tribesmen that have always created chaos and now demand more authority over the regions from the STG as they were the ones whom *liberated the Jazeera*

These developments will have severe consequences in the long run.
