As the Syrian Government was preparing its attack on the SDF - the Syrian Government launched an unprecedented propaganda and misinformation campaign against the SDF and the Kurdish people.

Among many narratives - one very dominant narrative was that the SDF is an ally of the Assad regime and therefore Russia - today we are seeing the government of Russia not only warmly greeting Jolani but also congratulating him on his campaign against the SDF; the narrative that the SDF is allies with the Assad-Russia axis is nonsense.

Worse than that, the Syrian Government is actively rebuilding relationships with a Government that carried out unprecedented massacres against the Syrian people in their efforts to stabilise Assad’s rule over Syria.

This all happens 1 day after the Syrian Government rallied the people of Syria to attack the SDF using the narrative that the SDF is a “remnant of the Assad regime”

In the village of Kafr Dalla, near Afrin city which is under the control of Turkish-backed groups, a woman was brutally murdered.
