Update — During the early hours of this morning, from 3:00 a.m. until 6:00 a.m., the Sirrin front south of Kobani witnessed two successive attack attempts carried out by Damascus-affiliated factions. Our forces confronted them with courage and professionalism. The clashes on that front resulted in the destruction of a large number of their military vehicles and armored units, and the killing of those inside them.
On the Abu Srah front, our forces delivered a precise strike against one of those factions’ convoys, forcing it to retreat and flee.
Another attempted advance was also repelled on the axis of Khan Mamad village, southeast of Kobani, where the enemy suffered heavy blows that thwarted its plan and compelled it to withdraw.
Our forces—the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Women’s Protection Units—affirm their full readiness to confront any aggression and will continue to defend our people and our land with firmness and determination.
Full details will be released at a later time.
