Update – At 11:25 PM last night, armed men from Damascus government factions attacked our forces' positions in the town of Abu Hamam in the eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside from across the Euphrates River, using machine guns. No casualties were reported among our forces.

Our forces immediately returned fire and took all necessary measures to secure our positions and protect the area.

More Turkish military reinforcements are being deployed into the Aleppo countryside towards the frontlines with the SDF at Tishreen dam.

The Syrian government (Damascus regime) has declared the areas of Deir Hafir and Maskana — under SDF control — as war zones. Yesterday, it deployed over 13 tanks, more than 20 military vehicles carrying heavy weapons, and significant troop reinforcements to the front line.Today, the Syrian government is continuing its buildup, now sending dozens of UAVs that were provided to them by the Turkish state and trained by Ukrainian officers.The SDF had earlier warned against any military escalation and stated that such moves would not go unanswered.

Syrian government-affiliated HTS and Turkish state-backed SNA forces continue to send reinforcements to attack the Deir Hafir region.

Pro-Damascus agencies and channels claim the attack will begin within two days.
