Armed gangs affiliated with the al-Qaeda government in Damascus assassinated two young brothers by shooting them in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo today.

The person who killed the two Kurdish young men in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood is nicknamed “Black Heart.” He is a Turkmen and was a member of the Hamzat Division (SNA), and is close to the Turkish Grey Wolves terrorist organization. The second person is nicknamed “Habu” and is from Aleppo.
Turkish intelligence and its mercenaries enter the neighborhood, humiliate Kurdish families, and attack them without any restraint. This is allegedly a direct order from Turkish intelligence.
Yesterday, they entered the neighborhood, and the two young men stopped them and demanded that they stop insulting the residents, hurling abuse, and using offensive language. Afterwards, one of the accused pulled out his weapon and killed them without any fear, in full view of the people, and even in front of the General Security Forces affiliated with the Damascus government.

In my interview with Al Jazeera network, I affirmed that we harbor no hostility toward the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and we appreciate the positive role played by Qatar and Oman, and we continue the dialogue with Saudi Arabia. Our goal is to reach new regional security arrangements carried out by the countries of the region themselves, away from any foreign military presence.
