🚨#BREAKING / Al-Suqaylabiyah:

An armed attack was carried out by a number of supporters of Al-Julani, riding motorcycles, against the predominantly Christian city of Al-Suqaylabiyah in Hama Governorate.

The armed men passed through security patrols without being stopped or prevented from entering the city. They then began firing randomly at commercial shops and civilians, resulting in a woman being injured in the Al-Mishwar Road area.

Footage documents the entry of a number of Al-Julani supporters into Al-Suqaylabiyah City on motorcycles, in front of the Syrian government’s General Security forces, without being stopped or prevented from entering the city.

In addition, there are reports of deaths and injuries among civilians.

Syrian General Security forces have arrested several young men from the city of Al-Suqaylabiyah for gathering in the public square following an armed attack by gunmen arriving from the town of Qalaat al-Madiq.

🚨#BREAKING General Security forces are raiding the homes of residents of Al-Suqaylabiyah in the Hama countryside, a predominantly Christian city, assaulting women inside their homes, and arresting around 10 young men from the city, including victims of the attack, while the perpetrators remain unaccountable.

The Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-DEM) issued a statement regarding the events in Al-Hasakah:

- The right to peaceful expression is legitimate and guaranteed for all; however, defending one's rights cannot be achieved by insulting the identities of other components or attempting to exclude them.

- We warn against attempts by certain domestic and regional factions to exploit the situation, stoke (Kurdish-Arab) tensions, and sabotage the project of building a new Syria.

- We call upon the relevant parties to launch an immediate investigation, hold accountable anyone who has committed crimes against the Kurdish people, and prevent Al-Hasakah from being turned into a conflict zone.

‎The criminal Iranian regime executed a Kurdish prisoner from Rojhilat (Eastern Kurdistan) at Urmia Central Prison in the early hours of Saturday, October 3, 2026. The executed prisoner was identified as Mustafa Sharifi, from the village of Tawan in Piranshahr County.
