The young man Masoud Hamo Rasho has joined the list of martyrs of the Kobanî Prison fire, succumbing to his severe injuries sustained in the fire, bringing the number of martyrs to ten heroes who chose death and confrontation over kneeling and surrender.

3 members of the General Security Forces were killed and several others were injured during a security operation carried out to arrest a wanted suspect in the city of Al-Sanamayn, in the Daraa countryside.
The operation came after intelligence information indicated that an armed faction wanted to carry out attacks against Israeli forces inside Syrian territory.
Clashes are still ongoing in the area.

The funeral of martyr Masoud Rasho Hamo, from the village of Susan and one of the martyrs of the Kobani prison fire, was held today, Friday, September 18, 2026, at the Martyr Dijla Shrine in the city of Kobani.
A large crowd of city residents and the families of the martyrs took part in the funeral ceremony, renewing their commitment to the sacrifices of the martyrs, upholding dignity and identity, and rejecting the forced transfer of detainees to the prisons of the Damascus government.
