The Syrian government, led by Abu Mohammad al-Julani (Ahmed al-Sharaa), has agreed to allow the Russian military bases to remain in Syria, contrary to the demands of the U.S. administration that they be dismantled.
Losing the war with Iran, the continued presence of Russian bases in Syria, and the loss of the United States’ most important ally, the Kurds, are all the result of Trump’s policies and those of his top man in the Middle East, Tom Barrack, who chose terrorism over those who were fighting terrorism. This has led to the loss of U.S. interests, while favoring Turkish interests over American interests and those of the American people.
And, of course, Trump does not come out and attack or tell the truth, because doing so would expose him to accountability and lead to the collapse of his popularity.
America must either reconsider its policy, recover what remains of its influence, and return with strength, or everything will fall apart and it will lose what remains of its interests.

Turkish forces withdrew on Sunday from Julbur village in Afrin countryside, northwestern Syria, after more than eight years of control, during which the village was used as a military base and residents were prevented from returning to their homes.
Following the withdrawal, vehicles belonging to the Internal Security Forces of Syria’s transitional government entered the village and began search and inspection operations to detect mines and unexploded remnants of war and assess the safety of the area.
Julbur has more than 110 homes, many of which were damaged or destroyed during years of shelling and military operations. The village had become a frontline area and was repeatedly shelled, causing extensive damage to residential buildings and private property.

🧵EXCLUSIVE INFORMATION
The Turkish army has accelerated its previously planned deployment to Deir ez-Zor. In this context, the army has sped up preparations to establish a new military base in the Mayadin district of Deir ez-Zor, near the Al-Rehbaa castle.
This military base, which is regarded as part of Turkey’s new strategic expansion along the Euphrates line, already has 50 Turkish soldiers, radar and reconnaissance equipment, and military vehicles deployed. Following the opening of dam gates in Turkey, many canals built on the Euphrates River overflowed, causing a large part of Deir ez-Zor to be flooded.
Taking advantage of this situation, Turkey entered the region under the guise of IHH aid. Now, large quantities of electrical and electronic equipment have been sent to the area in order to take control of all the oil fields in the region.

The areas where deployments have been made in this framework are as follows: the Taym oil field, the Kebajeb area (near the Al-Nur Mosque), and the buffer zone located 90–115 km from the Iraqi border.Meanwhile, the narrative that “the Turks have started stealing the oil” is spreading among the local population.

The Arab settlers who entered Serekaniye following the Turkish occupation are ISIS members and families who fled the Battle of Baghouz. They continue to seize Kurdish homes in the city. Today, they are riding motorcycles and issuing threats against returning Kurdish residents after 7 years of forced displacement and occupation.

The usual pattern with the Syrian Government - they announced that the families which they themselves have displaced will be allowed to return to Serekaniye (Ras al Ain) and glorified themselves for it.
On its first day of implementation however, their own forces started to attack and loot the convoys - even before the convoys reached their destinations.
The attackers are all settlers from Deirezzor, Hassakeh and Idlib - all settlers moved there in coordination with Turkey; after Turkey and the SNA factions invaded the region in 2019 and displaced the original inhabitants.
The Syrian Government yet again failed.
Not only have they not disarmed the armed factions there after proclaiming that every weapon must be in the hands of the State - they have also failed to build the security mechanism to protect the displaced original inhabitants as Serekaniye as they attempt to return to their homes.
